Editor/Author Biographies
Ali Kurt 's educational journey began at Istanbul University's School of Education, where he pursued English Language Teaching. In 2021, he achieved the honor of earning his Ph.D. in English Language Education, focusing on 'Intrinsic Motivation for Language Acquisition.' His work aimed to address the challenge of maintaining motivation among language learners, drawing attention to this crucial issue. Throughout his career, Dr. Kurt had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of classes, including special education, General English, and Academic English, across primary, secondary, and university pre-sessional English schools. Additionally, he had the opportunity to share his knowledge through courses on Academic Writing, Communication Skills, and Communicative Competence. Since 2015, Dr. Kurt has been dedicated to assisting students in their exam preparations, both nationally and internationally, in private and group settings. Presently, he serves as the director of a university's pre-sessional English school while continuing his research in areas such as learning, motivation, digitalized language learning, productive skills, error analysis, and English for special purposes.
