Introduction

In the era of digital transformation and rapid technological advancements, data has become a vital asset for organizations across various industries. Technological advancements in data processing have paved the way for next-generation intelligent systems capable of handling massive volumes of data, processing it in real-time, and deriving valuable insights.

In the present era, novel technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, Federated Learning, Quantum Computing, etc., have unlocked the potential to process continuously generated large volumes of information. The integration of big data frameworks, real-time processing, in-memory computing, AI/ML algorithms, and edge computing has revolutionized data processing capabilities, enabling organizations to build intelligent systems that drive innovation, optimize operations, and deliver personalized experiences. The main objective of combining these technologies is to maximize the computing power of the devices for implementing intelligent decisions to bring autonomy. As technology continues to evolve, we can expect further advancements in data processing, fuelling the growth of intelligent systems and shaping the future of various industries.



Objective

With a focus on the development of more efficient next-generation intelligent systems, this book is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of novel technologies such as Quantum Computing, Edge Computing, Federated Learning, Memory based computing, etc. Architectures of integrated data processing technologies with a focus on real-time analysis, faster decision-making, enhanced privacy, and the ability to process large volumes of data efficiently will be provided here. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 23, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by August 6, 2023 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 8, 2023, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Technological Advancements in Data Processing for Next Generation Intelligent Systems. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
