Introduction

The revitalizing power of "Digital Learning" stems from the wide range of digital tools that it provides and that training professionals must master. As a result, today's educational players have unprecedented opportunities to capitalize on: collaborative platforms, blockchain, deep learning, serious games games, learning analytics, rapid learning, virtual classes/visioconferencing mobile learning, and MOOCs. The digital transformation of education is accelerating thanks to these digital tools, and teaching is now investing in the educational Metaverse. Because of technological advancements, learners can be immersed in appropriate environments that will aid in their learning processes. As a result, there is a need for an edited collection of original research in this field. Thus, the goal of this book is to provide a forum for researchers to share their experiences with AI for training and Metavers, digital learning digital learning, the tools it provides, and the new practices to adopt.

Objective

This book aims to provide relevant theoretical frameworks as well as the most recent empirical research findings in the field of digital learning. It will be aimed at professionals, teachers, doctoral students, and anyone else who wants to improve their understanding of the benefits and limitations of using digital at various levels of education and training, such as collaborative platforms, deep learning, serious games learning, serious games, learning analytics, rapid learning, virtual classes/visioconferencing videoconferencing, mobile learning, MOOCs, educational metaverse, and so on.

Target Audience

This book's intended audience will be digital learning professionals and researchers, such as instructional designers, multimedia developers, user experience (UX) specialists, e-learning managers, learning data analysts, learning systems managers (LSM), and e-learning project managers. Furthermore, the book will include information on innovative pedagogical methods and emerging technologies that promote learner engagement and success.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before August 23, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by September 6, 2023 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 8, 2023, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Navigating Virtual Worlds and the Metaverse for Enhanced E-Learning. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
