Introduction

In our fast-paced, digitalized world, electronic devices have become an integral part of our lives, transforming the way we communicate, work, and live. However, the rapid advancement and widespread use of technology have also given rise to a significant environmental challenge: electronic waste, commonly known as e-waste. "Sustainable Solutions for a Digital World: Tackling E-waste and Development" is a compelling exploration of the intersection between sustainable development and the growing issue of e-waste.

The book delves deep into the multifaceted impacts of e-waste, shedding light on its environmental, social, and economic consequences. It highlights the alarming rates of e-waste generation, the hazardous components contained in electronic devices, and the detrimental effects on ecosystems and human health. Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before July 30, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by August 13, 2023 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 8, 2023, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Sustainable Solutions for E-Waste and Development. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
